Phyllis

Executive Director

Hi, my name is Phyllis and I have been working at TKCC since 2005. This is the same year that I worked closely with a volunteer Parent Board made up of Parents. They believed a licensed childcare centre was just what our community needed and they were not afraid to do the work to get it.

I love childcare because I get a chance to give children a great learning environment and relive all the wonder I had as a kid!

Supervisor/School Age

Hi, my name is Krystal. I have been at Treasure Keepers for four years. My passion is finding support to meet the needs of every child in our care. I love having a job where I get to watch children grow and learn. Being a part of the TKCC team means a lot to me, I get a supportive work environment where I can grow and learn new ways of thinking. For fun, I like to go four-wheeling with my friends and family and spending quality time with my grandson.

One thing I would like people to know about me is I can be a little shy in new situations.

Preschool Room

Hello families! My name is Chelsey, I graduated from Red River College in 2012 with my Early Childhood Education diploma. I have worked with all age groups, infants, preschool and school age children.

My mom had a home daycare growing up and I would always help with the younger children. I've known this was my passion since I was 15 years old, I couldn't imagine
doing anything else! I moved to La Broquerie about 5 years ago, I am married and I have a 2-year-old boy Ryker who also attends the center.

We love being outdoors and at the lake! I look forward to meeting and working with you and your children!

Infant Room

Hi, my name is Jennifer but everyone calls me Jen. I graduated from Red River College with my ECE II in 2015. I first started at TKCC in the summer of 2010 as a volunteer. Then in the fall of 2012, I started subbing/part-time. In May 2015 I started my full-time position in the infant room. I love working with infants and seeing how much they grow and change in such a short time. This is always challenging for me to create an environment that showcases how capable and independent an infant is. I love playing in the mud and getting messy whether it is quadding or at work.

Since then, my passion to grow and learn about this field has only grown stronger! I look forward to working with and getting to know all the families, as well as getting to know all the wonderful people who work here! I’m excited for all that I have yet to learn. My goal is to graduate and receive my ECE II diploma!

Auxiliary

Hi I am Stephanie. I am a CCA I just started at TKCC in November of 2023. I did volunteer here July-August of 2013 and December of 2015. My goal is to go back to school to get my ECE II and maybe down the line my ECE III. I have only been here a short amount of time but the staff have been nothing but amazing and welcoming. I feel very appreciated and valued. I feel like I can be myself and I fit in just fine. I'm looking forward to learning more and
being apart of the TKCC team!

A few things you don't know about me are I am a mom of two and I am not a coffee drinker but in my spare time I like to binge watch shows I am behind on. I enjoy reading and writing poetry. I am a huge Stitch fan. I own more Stitch items than I will ever
admit!

Kourtnee

Auxiliary

My name is Kourtnee! I have my CCA and would like to eventually work towards my ECE 11. I started at TKCC in March of 2024, and have loved it here so far! I am a person who kinda just floats around, doing things that we can’t always get to (such as deep cleaning), or subbing in for workers that can’t make it to work, so I do a little bit of everything.

I have so many goals at this point that I don’t even know where to start. I hope to finish up school, I want to travel, I want to grow my book collection, I want to keep evolving myself as a person: just so much I want to do!

Substitute

My name is Lehla, I have been at TKCC since August 2019 and started as a sub. I then moved into Inclusion and I am currently between rooms relieving staff for breaks which is great because I get to see a little of everyone! My goal is to learn from the amazing ECE's here at TKCC and to implement their knowledge and education into my interactions with your children!

Our Board of Directors

Michelle

Secretary

My children have been attending the daycare since 2014 and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to serve on the board of directors since 2016. I enjoy being able to bring forth ideas from the parents and the children. I am passionate about being able to help provide the children with their best daycare experience and provide the staff with a friendly and desired centre to work in.

Sonya

Chair

I'm a newer member to the board. My main reason for wanting to be involved is to be more aware and active in the processes/ guidelines the daycare follows. I hope to be more involved with continuing to grow and develop the resources available to all children who attend as well.
