Dedicated & Certified Team
Hi, my name is Phyllis and I have been working at TKCC since 2005. This is the same year that I worked closely with a volunteer Parent Board made up of Parents. They believed a licensed childcare centre was just what our community needed and they were not afraid to do the work to get it.
I love childcare because I get a chance to give children a great learning environment and relive all the wonder I had as a kid!

Hi, my name is Krystal. I have been at Treasure Keepers for four years. My passion is finding support to meet the needs of every child in our care. I love having a job where I get to watch children
grow and learn. Being a part of the TKCC team means a lot to me, I get a supportive work environment where I can grow and learn new ways of thinking. For fun, I like to go four-wheeling with my friends and family and spending quality time with my grandson.
One thing I would like people to know about me is I can be a little shy in new situations.
The most powerful teaching moments are those where you screw up.

Our Preshool Teachers
Hi, my name is Justine, I am an Early Childhood Educator ll. I started working at TKCC in 2014. During my time here I've learned about embracing risky play, reflected on how children are capable beings, and how I can best support them in their play and learning journey at TKCC.
Some of my values are, being outside and embracing all weather, taking my dog for walks, spending quality time with my family, and being with my friends.
What being part of the TKCC team means to me. I am in a safe, supportive environment
that allows me to take risks and reflect on them in meaningful ways with others.
I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think
Hi, my name is Alyssa I’ve been working at Treasure Keepers for almost 2 years now. I started off as a
substitute and recently got a full-time position! I love watching children grow and their
personalities develop. As long as I can remember I have enjoyed working with kids and in my spare
time, I coach cheer to children 5-10 years old. I am planning to go to school for my ECE II in 2023.
My favourite past times are painting and any outside activities. A fun fact about me is that I collect
little antique spoons and have since I was little.

Our Infant Teachers
Hi, my name is Jennifer but everyone calls me Jen. I graduated from Red River College with my ECE II in 2015. I first started at TKCC in the summer of 2010 as a volunteer. Then in the fall of 2012, I started subbing/part-time. In May 2015 I started my full-time position in the infant room. I love working with infants and seeing how much they grow and change in such a short time. This is always challenging for me to create an environment that showcases how capable and independent an infant is. I love playing in the mud and getting messy whether it is quadding or at work.

Hi, my name is Carol. I graduated from University in 1992 in Human Ecology Family Studies. I worked at Kinderworld Daycare in Winnipeg for 26 years in the Infant Room and started at Treasure Keepers in Feb 2019. I enjoy my house and flower gardening. I enjoy going walking with friends. I live on my own and share the house with a fish whom I call Captain Hook. He runs quite a tight ship with a few snails. My goal is to live with less fear and worry.

Our Auxilary Staff
Hi I'm Maria. I have worked in child care since 2015. I am currently a CCA at TKCC. I have been working here since January 2020. I love being able to watch the children grow. I love seeing them get excited about learning and experiencing new things.
My name is Lehla, I have been at TKCC since August 2019 and started as a sub. I then moved into Inclusion and I am currently between rooms relieving staff for breaks which is great because I get to see a little of everyone! My goal is to learn from the amazing ECE's here at TKCC and to implement their knowledge and education into my interactions with your children!

Our Board of Directors
I joined the board when my son started his journey into preschool. I am very passionate about supporting the growth and development of the children and staff in our centre. We work hard to ensure that our staff are given opportunities for professional development and are always continuing their learning. I know how important the connections are that children make with our staff. Making positive connections with staff helps set them up for future success in the educational system. I believe that regular communication between our staff and our families helps to create transparency and build a sense of community that goes beyond our children’s friendships. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow.
I'm a newer member to the board. My main reason for wanting to be involved is to be more aware and active in the processes/ guidelines the daycare follows. I hope to be more involved with continuing to grow and develop the resources available to all children who attend as well.
My children have been attending the daycare since 2014 and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to serve on the board of directors since 2016. I enjoy being able to bring forth ideas from the parents and the children. I am passionate about being able to help provide the children with their best daycare experience and provide the staff with a friendly and desired centre to work in.
Board of Directors Member
Our centre is overseen by our volunteer members. Their role is a key part of the direction our centre moves in. We have regular monthly meetings to review all our policies to ensure we are responsive to families' needs, and support staff and to create a safe environment for all.
